The Ultimate Acupoint For Treating Pain

The Ultimate Acupoint for Treating Pain

What is the best acupoint to treat pain?

There are many possible choices when selecting acupuncture points to reduce or eliminate pain. My personal favorite acupoint for pain is Li4 also known as Thalamus point. From this acupoint we can stimulate the body to produce b-endorphins, and release this neurotransmitter from the pituitary into central circulation as well as into the central nervous system.

What are b-endorphins?

B-endorphins are an endogenous opioid that functions extremely well to reduce or eliminate pain.

Do B-Endorphins treat physical, mental, or emotional pain?

It functions well to treat all of these, and can help with depression.

What are the correct parameters to elicit the optimal outcome?
  • Use 1-4Hz frequency

  • Stimulate for a minimum of 20 minutes, with a maximum of 30 minutes

  • Stay in the power sweet spot
