Reverse Polarity in Acupuncture: The Electrical Root of Chronic Disease

Reverse Polarity in Acupuncture: The Electrical Root of Chronic Disease

Chronic disease isn’t just biochemical — it’s electrical.

In electroacupuncture, we often focus on frequency, point selection, and protocol. But if reverse polarity is present in the channels, you may only be managing symptoms instead of correcting the root cause.

In this training, Dr. Jeremy Steiner explains how muscles act as biological batteries, how polarity reversal contributes to oxidative stress, and why restoring negative charge is critical for long-term clinical stability.

The Negative Charge Cheat Sheet – How Electrons Heal the Body

This guide breaks down:

  • Electron stealers vs electron donors
  • How polarity shifts in chronic disease
  • Why negative charge stabilizes tissue
  • How to begin correcting polarity in your clinic

Muscles Are Biological Batteries

The muscles that form the acupuncture channels behave like biological batteries.

In a healthy state, they maintain proper negative charge.
In chronic disease, they can reverse polarity.

When polarity reverses, tissue stops donating electrons and begins stealing them.

This creates oxidative stress.
It increases free radical production.
And it destabilizes the internal terrain.

Why Chronic Disease Keeps Returning

You treat the patient.
Symptoms improve.
Then the disease comes back.

Why?

Because the polarity was never corrected.

Without restoring baseline electrical charge, tissue continues producing free radicals even after symptom relief.

Correction requires:

  1. Bringing polarity back to baseline
  2. Reintroducing proper negative charge
  3. Supporting tissue with physical electricity

When polarity is restored, results begin to hold.

Blood Terrain and Electrical Health

If the blood terrain loses its negative charge, imbalance begins long before pathology is visible through conventional diagnostics.

Terrain theory emphasizes that internal environment determines expression.

When terrain deteriorates:

  • Protein structures destabilize
  • Oxidative stress increases
  • Cellular function declines

When terrain is restored:

  • Inflammatory patterns decrease
  • Tissue stabilizes
  • Regenerative processes resume

Electrical correction supports terrain normalization.

Terrain Theory vs Germ Theory

Germ theory focuses on external pathogens.

Terrain theory focuses on internal environment.

In poor terrain, tissue transforms under stress.
In restored terrain, that process can regress.

Understanding polarity shifts allows you to intervene earlier and more effectively.

Correct the Polarity. Stabilize the Case.

If you’re seeing chronic relapse in pain, autoimmune, neuropathy, or inflammatory cases, check polarity.

Electrical imbalance may be the missing variable.
